BRD originated as a corporate team in the 1998 Riverfestival, so we understand the true value of what corporate team training can do for any organisation. This type of corporate training has become an integral part of our club with our annual Corporate Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Regatta @ Southbank being the largest of its kind in Queensland.

Dragon Boating has many benefits including:

• A combined effort from all team members is required to achieve a single goal.
• There are no barriers. Everyone is equal in the boat.
• This of course overflows into the workplace and can lead to better working relationships between sections and staff.

We are currently developing the final arragements for our corporate training package, what we can offer your organisation is all inclusive for 2 Hours of Dragon Boating and includes the following.

• Full safety instructions and paddling technique training
• Individual lifejackets (PRD’s)
• Safety boat
• Two dragon boats with paddles and sweeps (Club sweeps accredited with Australian Dragon Boat Federation)
• Experienced club members to assist with all needs and queries.

We can also incorporate other fun team challenges on land at the Colmslie Recreation Reserve while teams are rotated in the boats.

And most importantly, there are facilities for the all important barbecue and drinks in the parkland right behind the beach at the Colmslie Recreation Reserve!
