BRD have just returned from Malaysia as part of the contingent representing Australia at the CCWC 2008!

After a momentous lead up to the CCWC in Penang, BRD proved to be mighty contenders both on and off the water! As the second largest club entered at the championships, BRD contested almost every category across the four days of racing. From this we produced three stunning podium results, all from our masters crews!

- 200m Ladies Masters - Silver
- 500m Ladies Masters - Silver
- 500m Mixed Masters - Bronze
- 2000m Mens Masters - 4th

Not to mention the awesome results from our premier guys, girls and mixed crews who dug deep to make a dent in the placings among the worlds best crews.

- 2000m Women Premier - 5th (25 crews contested)
- 200m Women Premier - 6th (25 crews contested)
- 500m Women Premier - 7th (25 crews contested)
- 2000m Open Men - 8th (25 crews contested)
- 500m Mixed Premier - 6th (36 crews contested)
- 2000m Mixed Premier - 8th (36 crews contested)
