Fundraising plays an important role in helping our club grow, compete, and continue providing opportunities for paddlers of all ages and abilities. From supporting equipment purchases and event participation to helping keep our programs accessible, every contribution makes a difference.

Brisbane River Dragons has proudly qualified for the 2026 Club Crew World Championships in Taiwan this September — a prestigious international dragon boat competition held every two years. Our Senior C Women’s and Mixed crews will compete against top clubs from around the world. Funds raised will assist with accommodation and transport so our athletes can focus on representing Brisbane and Australia at their best. Your support will help turn years of dedication and training into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

We’re grateful for the ongoing support of Bunnings Warehouse, helping Brisbane River Dragons raise valuable funds to support our club and paddlers.

• Marathon assistance

Brisbane River Dragons has partnered with marathon event organisers to provide volunteers for a range of event support roles, including registration and recovery stations. These events are a great way for members to support the club while helping deliver major community events.

Members interested in volunteering should keep an eye on our group Facebook page for upcoming opportunities or contact Keli (DB) directly. Our next event is the Brisbane Marathon from 5–7 June 2026.
